BIO: Pastor Sarah grew up in Lapel, IN attending church at Ford Street UMC. The daughter of a United Methodist minister. In January of 2007 she was hired by Faith United Methodist in Elkhart as the Youth Director. She became an associate pastor at Faith UMC and held that position until her appointment here at New Hope in August, 2022. Her goal in ministry is to see what God is up to in our community and jump on board, working to be a bold witness for wholeness and reconciliation that comes through a relationship with Christ. Beyond ministry, she loves being outdoors in the sun especially in a kayak or doing a little hiking. Pastor Sarah is married to husband, Brad and they have two children Layla and Griffin.

BIO: Deanna was born in Brazil, Indiana to Glenn and Elizabeth Duncan. She has three sisters. Her parents were full time pastors so she lived in Texas and various places throughout the state of Indiana. She has worked in retail, in a government contract shop, and spent 25 years in the RV industry as a Company Controller and then as a Corporate Controller for a publically traded company. She is married to Joe and they had children. two grand-sons, and one grand-daughter. She has held this position with New Hope since December, 2008.

BIO Susan graduated from Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN in 2002 with a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling. She is a licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of Indiana and in Michigan. Susan maintains a clinical membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her specialty areas include the marital relationship and whole family struggles, integration of business and family life, women's issues and life adjustment challenges. In addition to counseling at the Beacon of Hope, Susan maintains a private practice in Michigan, and serves as an adjunct professor at Bethel College. For over thirty -five years, Susan and her husband have owned and managed a business together while raising their five children. Her family attends Porter Baptist Church where Susan sings in the choir, facilitates women's group ministries, and leads a class for teens.
