BIO: Pastor Char is a native of the Michiana area and has served St. Paul's UMC Elkhart as a Associate, Walkerton UMC as Sr. Pastor and Monroe UMC as Sr. Pastor. She and her husband Michael are the parents of three grown children and grandparents to two grandsons. Pastor Char is a Penn High School, IUSB, and an AMS graduate. She was commissioned to the INUMC in 2005 and ordained in 2009; Pastor Char has sung professionally since high school and she and her husband enjoy musical theatre. While her husband, Mike, is an avid golfer. Pastor Char likes to get-away to their lake property in Warsaw. They serve the Lord with warmth and joy.

BIO: Deanna was born in Brazil, Indiana to Glenn and Elizabeth Duncan. She has three sisters. Her parents were full time pastors so she lived in Texas and various places throughout the state of Indiana. She has worked in retail, in a government contract shop, and spent 25 years in the RV industry as a Company Controller and then as a Corporate Controller for a publically traded company. She is married to Joe and they have two daughters, one son. two grand-sons, and one grand-daughter. She has held this position with New Hope since December, 2008.

BIO: Pat grew up in Elkhart and went to Jimtown schools. She was recently widowed and has three daughters, one son, ten grand-children and six great grand-children. Before working at New Hope she owned a gift shop for twenty four years.

BIO Susan graduated from Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN in 2002 with a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling. She is a licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of Indiana and in Michigan. Susan maintains a clinical membership in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Her specialty areas include the marital relationship and whole family struggles, integration of business and family life, women's issues and life adjustment challenges. In addition to counseling at the Beacon of Hope, Susan maintains a private practice in Michigan, and serves as an adjunct professor at Bethel College. For over thirty -five years, Susan and her husband have owned and managed a business together while raising their five children. Her family attends Porter Baptist Church where Susan sings in the choir, facilitates women's group ministries, and leads a class for teens.
